Governing Taekwondo in Punjab Since 1997
The Punjab Taekwondo Association, affiliated to the Punjab Olympic Association, was established in 1997. Over close to three decades, the Association has played a significant role in promoting and developing Taekwondo in Punjab, nurturing generations of athletes who have brought distinction to both the State and the Nation at national and international levels.
As the recognised state governing body, the Association maintains the official register of athletes, coaches, referees, and technical officials in Punjab. It conducts belt grading examinations, sanctions and organises state championships and selection trials, affiliates district units and training centres, and issues the records on which eligibility for national entries and state sports gradation certificates depends.
Every fee collected through this website funds that administrative work — verification, record-keeping, technical officials, and the conduct of competition. The Association does not sell goods and operates on a not-for-profit basis in furtherance of the sport.
